The Calling

In 1983, when a group of young musicians got together and formed a rock band called “Exodus” without even knowing the true meaning of the word, little did they know that it was just the first steps in the mighty plan of God for their lives. As years passed on, these young men had separate encounters with Jesus, which changed the very purpose of their lives. Encouraged and powered by the Holy Spirit, they embarked upon a new purposeful journey, the “Exodus” to evangelize the world.

 As their lives began to change, in the year 1997, God began to use these men as instruments of change in their society. Being led by the Holy Spirit they started devoting their time to ministry. Their passion turned to the Word of God, and their pursuit, to glorifying Christ through their lives.

Mission

After a fruitful period of drawing many people to Christ through their testimonies and music, the Exodus church was established in the year 2002, in the city of Cochin.

 As a church, we are founded on the Great commission of the Lord to go and preach the gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:18-20) and today, this full gospel church, that operates across India and spreading to other nations, has a multi-faceted ministry that includes spiritual training, Bible School, Counselling, Church planting, Educational programs, child care & community development projects.

Exodus is based in Cochin, Kerala State, India.
