In 1983, when a group of young musicians got together and formed a rock band called “Exodus” without even knowing the true meaning of the word, little did they know that it was just the first steps in the mighty plan of God for their lives. As years passed on, these young men had separate encounters with Jesus, which changed the very purpose of their lives. Encouraged and powered by the Holy Spirit, they embarked upon a new purposeful journey, the “Exodus” to evangelize the world.

The band became a powerful tool to lead the young generation to God. So in the year 1997, Exodus, with a handful of youngsters, started ministering through live concerts at YMCA International House Ernakulam. Every Wednesday they reached out to the youth of the city with lively music, testimonies and messages of love and hope. Hundreds were saved and many lives transformed.

In 2002, this fellowship was led by God to become a Spirit- filled Church. Today Exodus, with its multi-faceted ministries, is reaching out to the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Exodus is based in Cochin, Kerala State, India.
